Krispy Kreme Launches Girl Scout Cookie Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme and Girl Scouts of the USA launched the "Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen" this week, a limited-time collection featuring three doughnuts that deconstruct the flavor profiles of Thin Mints, Lemon-Ups, and Coconut Caramel cookies. This collaboration translates the iconic cookie tastes into distinct pastry creations, with each doughnut utilizing a unique construction method.

The Thin Mints Doughnut is built upon Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed base. It is then dipped in chocolate icing to mimic the cookie's chocolate coating. To replicate the cookie's texture, the doughnut is topped with Thin Mints cookie crumbles and dark chocolate chips. A final drizzle of mint green icing provides a visual and flavor cue to the original cookie.

The Lemon-Ups Doughnut features an unglazed shell with a filled center, aiming to capture the zesty and creamy essence of the cookie. This doughnut incorporates lemon-flavored filling and a glaze that reflects the bright citrus notes of the Lemon-Ups cookie.

The Coconut Caramel Doughnut also starts with an Original Glazed base, layered with elements that evoke the rich combination of coconut and caramel. This includes a caramel-flavored filling and a topping that incorporates toasted coconut and a caramel drizzle, mirroring the sweet and nutty characteristics of the Coconut Caramel cookie.

The "Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen" is available at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide, offered both individually and by the dozen. Additionally, a six-pack of the Thin Mints doughnut is being distributed to select grocery retailers.
