Moana Live-Action Tops South Korea Box Office

Disney's live-action adaptation of "Moana" debuted at the top of the South Korean box office for the weekend of July 10-12. The film garnered $3 million from 403,931 admissions across the three-day period, capturing a 36.53% market share. This performance indicates strong audience reception for the reimagined animated classic.

Following closely in second place was "The Eyes," which maintained its position from the previous week. The film earned $1.7 million from 218,508 admissions, representing a 17.65% market share. Its continued presence in the top tier suggests sustained interest from moviegoers.

"Inside Out 2" secured the third spot, bringing in $1.1 million from 139,550 admissions and accounting for 11.31% of the weekend's ticket sales. The animated sequel has shown resilience in its theatrical run.

Rounding out the top five were "Alienoid: Return to the Future" at fourth place with $700,000 from 91,218 admissions (7.38% market share), and "The Plot" in fifth with $500,000 from 65,870 admissions (5.30% market share).
