Keller Williams Acquires Jason Mitchell Group for $5.9B

Keller Williams (KW) has agreed to acquire the Jason Mitchell Group (JMG), a Scottsdale, Arizona-based brokerage that achieved nearly $5.9 billion in sales volume across more than 12,300 transaction sides in 2025. This acquisition is set to integrate one of the industry's most substantial lead-conversion platforms into KW's franchise network. The transaction, announced by KW on a Monday, is anticipated to finalize in the third quarter, pending standard closing conditions, though financial terms have not been disclosed.

JMG currently operates across 37 states, employing over 1,200 affiliated agents, and holds a position among the top U.S. brokerages as verified by RealTrends. The company has cultivated a business model centered on referrals and lead generation, directing consumer inquiries from mortgage and real estate partners to its network of agents. Keller Williams President and CEO Chris Czarnecki highlighted JMG's status as "effectively the biggest team-rich entity in the country" in an exclusive interview with HousingWire, expressing excitement about JMG founder Jason Mitchell's decision to elevate his business with KW.

The JMG platform facilitates lead processing through established relationships with prominent lenders and real estate brands, including Rocket Mortgage, Mr. Cooper, New American Funding, Veterans United, Redfin, and Zillow. Following the acquisition, Jason Mitchell will continue to lead JMG as its president and will also join Keller Williams' executive team. Key JMG executives, including chief revenue officer Jake Kraft and vice president of operations Ken Friedlander, will transition to KW as part of the deal. Mitchell stated that the decision to partner with KW was clear due to the company's culture, people, and operational support, aiming to connect motivated buyers and sellers with agents for an enhanced experience.
