It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 18 Premieres August 17

FX has announced that the long-running sitcom "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" will return for its eighteenth season on Monday, August 17. This upcoming season will feature an expanded order of 10 episodes, an increase from the eight episodes that comprised the previous three seasons. The premiere is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

The new season will be available across multiple platforms. Viewers in the United States can watch on FXX and FX, as well as stream it on Hulu. Internationally, the series will be available for streaming on Disney+.

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" first premiered in 2005, making it one of the longest-running live-action sitcoms in American television history. The series stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito as the dysfunctional owners of Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia.

The show's renewal for season 18 was confirmed in December 2023, extending its record-breaking run. The extended episode count for season 18 suggests a continued commitment from FX to the popular comedy, which has maintained a dedicated fanbase over its nearly two-decade tenure.
