Isabel Davis Appointed Director Of BFI Filmmaking Fund

Isabel Davis has been appointed Director of the BFI Filmmaking Fund. Davis will commence her role in October 2026, taking on a five-year fixed term. This appointment follows her eight-year tenure as Executive Director of Screen Scotland. Prior to her leadership at Screen Scotland, Davis held a significant position at the BFI, including serving as the Head of International.

In her new capacity, Davis will oversee the BFI Filmmaking Fund, a crucial component of the British Film Institute's strategy to support and develop UK film production. The fund plays a vital role in nurturing emerging talent and enabling the creation of diverse and innovative cinematic projects.
