EVAN, previously known as Heeseung of ENHYPEN, has officially launched his solo music career with the release of his debut digital single "Ride or Die." This marks a significant shift as the artist, now operating under the name EVAN, takes creative control over his artistic direction. The single is accompanied by a B-side track titled "Overflow," and the release introduces new official social media channels and profile imagery for the artist.

The rollout of EVAN's solo era began with a deliberate aesthetic reset. His initial profile images eschewed heavy makeup and elaborate styling for a more understated presentation. BELIFT LAB, the label behind the artist, described these visuals as an early, unformed glimpse of EVAN, allowing his music and persona to develop organically without pre-existing external influences. The chosen name, EVAN, holds personal significance, having been a childhood moniker, intended to represent a more authentic and natural self in his future musical endeavors.
