I'm Donut? x Uniqlo NYC Capsule Features Five Designs

I'm Donut? and UNIQLO released a limited-time capsule collection on an unspecified date, featuring five exclusive designs by New York-based graphic designer Kei Saito. The collection includes adult and kids T-shirts, as well as two sizes of tote bags, all showcasing Saito's artwork. This artwork is inspired by I'm Donut?'s signature nama donuts and the brand's distinctive visual identity. The collection is available exclusively at UNIQLO's SoHo and Fifth Avenue stores in New York City until September 26.

In addition to the apparel and accessories, the capsule offers six embroidery customization options. It also marks the debut of I'm Donut? CLUB, a new lineup of nine unique characters, each embodying a distinct donut-inspired personality. These characters are integrated into the graphics on the T-shirts and tote bags, adding a narrative element to the collection. The designs are centered around five distinct artworks created by Kei Saito, whose work spans fashion, art, music, and street culture.

Kei Saito, who was born and raised in Japan and is now based in New York, infuses the collection with a sensibility that bridges the visual languages of both cities. This approach grounds the capsule in a subcultural fluency that connects I'm Donut?'s Tokyo-rooted pastry identity with UNIQLO's retail model, which has strong ties to streetwear. The artwork itself draws from I'm Donut?'s nama donut range and the brand's broader playful aesthetic, translating edible products into graphic designs across the entire apparel and accessories offering.
