Idaho Activates 125MW Solar Farm, Larger Project Underway

Idaho officially activated a 125-megawatt (MWac) solar farm this week, marking a substantial addition to the state's renewable energy capacity. This project, located in the state, is now operational and contributing clean electricity to the grid.

In parallel with the operationalization of the 125 MWac facility, construction has commenced on an even larger solar project. This new development is slated to be more than three times the size of the recently completed farm, with an anticipated capacity of approximately 400 megawatts (MWac). The initiation of construction on this larger scale project underscores a significant commitment to expanding solar energy infrastructure within Idaho.
