Huawei Pura 90 Series Global Launch Date Confirmed

Huawei's Pura 90 series is scheduled for a global launch on July 16, 2024. This announcement follows the series' initial debut in China on April 18, 2024, which featured the Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro, and Pura 90 Pro+ models. The global rollout is expected to bring these devices to international markets, though specific regional availability and configurations are yet to be detailed by the company.

The Pura 90 series is positioned as Huawei's flagship line, succeeding the P series. In China, the devices were launched with a focus on camera technology and design. The Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro+ are equipped with a 50MP main camera featuring a variable aperture, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The standard Pura 90 model includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultrawide lens. All models feature a 50MP selfie camera.

Internally, the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro+ are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4G chipset, while the standard Pura 90 utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4G. The devices run on HarmonyOS 4.2 in China. The Pura 90 Pro boasts a 5050 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and the Pura 90 Pro+ offers a 5050 mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The Pura 90 comes with a 5000 mAh battery and 66W wired charging.
