Visa has partnered with GigSky to offer complimentary international mobile data to eligible Visa Signature and Visa Infinite credit cardholders. This benefit provides travelers with a free eSIM data plan, allowing them to stay connected in over 175 destinations worldwide without incurring international roaming charges from their primary carrier. The program aims to simplify international connectivity for cardholders traveling abroad.

The GigSky eSIM benefit offers different tiers based on the Visa card type. Visa Signature cardholders receive 1GB of international data, valid for 15 days per calendar year, along with a 20% discount on additional data purchases. Visa Infinite cardholders receive a more generous 3GB of international data, also valid for 15 days annually, and a 30% discount on extra data plans. This data can be utilized for various travel needs, such as navigation, communication, and ride-sharing services in cities like Tokyo, Paris, and Mexico City.

To claim this benefit, cardholders must first download the GigSky app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once the app is installed, users need to create or log into their GigSky account. Within the app, they will find the specific Visa offer, where they can add and verify their eligible Visa Signature or Visa Infinite card. After successful verification, the complimentary data plan can be claimed and then installed as an eSIM on a compatible mobile device. The eSIM plan can be activated either before departing for a trip or upon arrival at the destination.
