Priority Pass Launches Redesigned Priority Pass+ App

Priority Pass announced the rollout of its redesigned mobile application, Priority Pass+, this summer. The new app is set to replace the existing Priority Pass app, introducing enhanced planning tools, comprehensive membership management features, and a refreshed user interface. The company, which provides access to over 1,900 airport lounges and travel experiences globally, is implementing a staged rollout of the updated application.

Key new features within Priority Pass+ include an easily accessible gallery of nearby lounges, a more detailed overview of membership inclusions such as access to sleep pods and spas, and a clear display of visit history with remaining available visits. The app also incorporates a digital membership card, the capability to manage multiple memberships, and new travel recommendations. Users can expect a more intuitive navigation experience, with the ability to view their digital membership card and conduct in-app payments.

The update process for existing users involves transitioning from the old app to the new Priority Pass+ experience, with availability dependent on the user's region and their specific bank or credit card issuer. New members will have a separate sign-in option. Security enhancements include biometric sign-in and one-time password verification via email or text. Upon initial setup, users are prompted to select a default airport, with John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) being an example of a selection.
