Honor Magic V6 Launches in UK With Foldable Display
Honor officially launched its Magic V6 foldable smartphone in the United Kingdom this week, marking the device's first expansion into the European market. The Magic V6 features a 7.92-inch internal foldable OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.47-inch external display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. This launch follows its initial release in China in May 2024.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. For photography, the Magic V6 is equipped with a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom. A 50MP front-facing camera is present on the external display.
Honor has emphasized the device's durability, citing its proprietary hinge technology designed for longevity. The Magic V6 also supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging for its 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone runs on Honor's MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14. Pricing for the UK market starts at £1,699 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, with availability beginning on July 19, 2024.
