HOMEGAME and New Era Release "Kasane Pack" MLB Caps

HOMEGAME and New Era have launched the "Kasane Pack," a limited-edition collection of three MLB 59FIFTY fitted caps that integrate traditional Japanese textile patterns. This collaboration reimagines classic Japanese motifs by applying them to the crowns of caps representing the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, and New York Yankees. Each cap in the pack is constructed using a unique patchwork-style fabric that combines several distinct traditional Japanese patterns and botanical references, creating a visually rich and layered aesthetic. The design philosophy behind the "Kasane Pack" is to offer a contemporary interpretation of these historical Japanese designs, with meticulous attention given to the selection of the cloth and its precise application onto the six-panel cap structure. The collection emphasizes the unique nature of each piece, with pattern placement varying from cap to cap, ensuring that no two items are identical. The fabric itself is a key element, assembling classic motifs such as the geometric "asanoha" (hemp leaf) grid, delicate floral clusters, and upright bamboo stalks into a cohesive surface. This approach moves beyond simple printing, creating a textured and intricate visual experience. Each of the three colorways is named to reflect its dominant hue and featured motif. The Los Angeles Dodgers cap is named "AIKA" (藍花), featuring blue-toned prints and a solid blue brim. The Seattle Mariners cap, "SUIMA" (翠麻), utilizes greens and is finished with a Northwest Green visor, nodding to the team's regional identity. The New York Yankees edition, "SHICHIKU" (紫竹), presents a purple-leaning crown complemented by a navy brim. Across all three caps, the trims maintain a consistent, classic look.
