Henrich breaks Welsh record as Azu replaced by brother

Charlotte Henrich broke the Welsh record in the 100m hurdles on day two of the British Athletics Championships in Birmingham. She finished with a time of 12.99 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 13.01 seconds set by Sarah Cowley in 2007. This performance secured her a bronze medal at the championships. In other athletics news, Welsh sprinter Jeremiah Azu was replaced in the 100m final by his brother, Daniel Azu, due to a minor hamstring issue. Jeremiah Azu had qualified for the final with the fastest time in the semi-finals, running 10.10 seconds. Daniel Azu went on to finish sixth in the final.
