Actress Helen Mirren and her husband, director Taylor Hackford, have relisted their Hollywood Hills estate for $12.99 million, marking a significant price reduction after undertaking a major renovation. This latest listing comes after years of attempts to sell the property, which was initially put on the market for $18.5 million in 2021. At that time, the couple also offered the estate as a rental at $45,000 per month.

The couple, who purchased the property in the 1980s, have spent decades preserving its "Old Hollywood charm." Their initial listing in 2021 did not result in a sale, prompting a series of price adjustments over the subsequent years. By June 2025, the asking price had been lowered to $12.99 million. Following this, Mirren and Hackford decided to remove the property from the market to complete an extensive renovation of its interior.

Upon completion of the renovation, the seven-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom estate has been relisted at the same $12.99 million price point. The property boasts a collection of new features following the refresh. The decision to relist after renovation indicates a renewed strategy to attract buyers to the historic Hollywood Hills residence, which has been a part of Mirren's and Hackford's lives for over forty years.
