Heather Rae El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa's Newport Beach home was "ransacked" by thieves between June 6 and June 8, while the couple was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Heather Rae El Moussa shared an emotional statement on Instagram, expressing that she and Tarek feel "violated" by the crime and are "really sad." She announced a temporary step back from social media to process the incident. The couple and their children, including their 3-year-old son Tristan, are safe, as are Tarek's two children from his previous marriage to Christina Haack. Newport Beach police confirmed to People magazine that "unknown suspects" gained entry by shattering a rear sliding glass door. The thieves reportedly ransacked the primary bedroom closet, stealing several pieces of jewelry before fleeing through the backyard and front yard. The estimated value of the home is $5.2 million.
