Hasbro Merges Transformers and Scooby-Doo in New Toy Set
Hasbro unveiled its latest pop culture mashup on an unspecified date in 2024 with the new Transformers x Scooby-Doo Collaborative set, merging the Autobot universe with the Hanna-Barbera cartoon. This release introduces two original figures, Mysterious Prime and Automutt, offering a mechanical twist on the classic animated detective team. The set is designed for nostalgic fans and robot enthusiasts, leveraging recognizable imagery from the animated series to expand the brand's appeal beyond traditional demographics.
The Transformers x Scooby-Doo set includes a six-inch scale robot that converts into the Mystery Machine vehicle in 19 steps. In its robot mode, this figure features four interchangeable heads styled after the original Mystery Inc. gang members. Notably, this toy marks the first Autobot to include Fred Jones and his signature ascot as a removable accessory. A secondary figure, Automutt, transforms from a robotic Great Dane into a Scooby Snacks box in six steps.
The new figures are priced at $57.99 and are available for pre-order via Hasbro Pulse and select retailers. The release is slated for Fall 2026. This crossover capitalizes on the growing cultural momentum of the Scooby-Doo franchise, particularly ahead of a major television reboot.
