Hamilton and Christopher Nolan Release "The Odyssey" Watch

Hamilton has partnered with filmmaker Christopher Nolan to launch the Khaki Field Auto "The Odyssey" Limited Edition timepiece. This collaboration celebrates Nolan's latest film, "The Odyssey," translating its narrative and visual elements into a watch design. The timepiece features a 42mm bronze case, which is designed to develop a unique patina over time. Its brushed black dial omits traditional numerals, instead incorporating design cues inspired by the film, such as a swirling bronze perimeter pattern reminiscent of Odysseus's helmet and a rivet-style index at the 12 o'clock position that echoes a sword scabbard. The sword-shaped hands are treated with Super-LumiNova for visibility.

To ensure wearer comfort and prevent direct contact with the reactive bronze, the watch is equipped with a lightweight titanium caseback. This caseback is intricately engraved with an image of the hero's helmet and Christopher Nolan's signature. The watch is powered by Hamilton's Caliber H-10 automatic movement, which offers an 80-hour power reserve and includes a Nivachron balance spring for improved resistance to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations. The timepiece is also water-resistant up to 100 meters.

The Khaki Field Auto "The Odyssey" is limited to 2,112 pieces and is available for approximately $1,478 USD through Hamilton. It is presented with a brown calfskin leather strap that features prominent central stitching and a titanium pin buckle, blending historical aesthetics with contemporary functionality. This release continues Hamilton's established relationship with Christopher Nolan, building on previous collaborations.
