Grand Seiko Releases Limited Edition "Peach Blossom" Watch

Grand Seiko has unveiled the Heritage Collection Limited Edition SBGA529, a new Spring Drive watch created exclusively for Reeds Jewelers. The timepiece draws inspiration from the "Peach Blossom Village" of Achi in Nagano Prefecture, translating the soft blush of morning peach blossoms into a pale pink dial with a delicate texture. This dial subtly shifts in appearance as it catches the light, reflecting the ephemeral beauty of spring along the Achi River.

The watch features a 40mm High‑Intensity Titanium case, designed based on the original 62GS model from 1967. It incorporates a bezel‑free construction and a box‑shaped sapphire crystal. The dial's soft peach‑pink hue is complemented by polished dauphine hands, sharp hour markers, and a power reserve indicator. The case exhibits Zaratsu polishing, creating mirror-like surfaces that contrast with brushed planes, enhancing the interplay of light and shadow.

Powering the SBGA529 is the automatic Spring Drive Caliber 9R65, visible through an open sapphire caseback. This movement offers a 72-hour power reserve and maintains an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. The watch is strictly limited to 30 units worldwide.

The Grand Seiko SBGA529 will be available for purchase starting in August 2026 with a retail price of $7,600 USD. It will be sold exclusively through the Grand Seiko Boutique Lenox Square in Atlanta, which is operated by Reeds Jewelers.
