Gracie the Giraffe Found Safe After Texas Disappearance

Gracie, a giraffe that had been missing from a private game ranch in rural Texas for nearly two weeks, was found safe on Friday. Authorities located the animal just a few miles away from the ranch.

An aerial search was instrumental in pinpointing Gracie's whereabouts. Real County Sheriff Nathan Johnson announced the successful recovery of the giraffe, affectionately nicknamed "the wandering giraffe," in a Facebook post. This marks the successful conclusion of efforts to find the animal.

Earlier in the week, there were false reports of Gracie being found, adding to the uncertainty surrounding her disappearance. The giraffe had absconded from the private ranch, prompting an extensive search effort by local authorities and the ranch owners.
