Google expands richer Local Services Ads for real estate nationwide
Google is expanding its enhanced Local Services Ads (LSAs) for Home Listings to all 50 U.S. states, a move designed to provide homebuyers with more property details directly within search results and generate new leads for real estate agents. This updated LSA format now integrates property specifics such as pricing, photographs, and key features directly into the advertisements. This functionality is enabled through a collaboration with HouseCanary, which provides the property data powering these listings. The enhancement allows potential buyers to view and evaluate homes, along with their associated details, and contact agents without leaving the Google Search interface. This aims to improve lead quality and conversion rates for real estate professionals by connecting them with high-intent buyers earlier in their property search journey. Existing LSA advertisers will be automatically included in this new offering, while new real estate professionals can sign up to receive leads. Portal partners also have the option to enroll agents via Google's managed partner program. Google anticipates that by combining detailed listing information with direct agent contact options, Search will become a more effective initial platform for homebuyers and a valuable lead generation tool for agents.
