COLORSxSTUDIO Opens First Permanent US Studio in Brooklyn

COLORSxSTUDIO, the Berlin-based music platform founded in 2016, has opened its first permanent physical studio space in Brooklyn, New York. This expansion marks a significant move for the platform, which has primarily operated virtually in the United States, delivering aesthetically curated music videos on YouTube. These videos, often filmed against vibrant, single-color backdrops, typically garner close to 30 million views on average, showcasing a global roster of artists.

The new Brooklyn studio aims to serve as a stateside embodiment of COLORSxSTUDIO's community-centric ethos. To inaugurate the space, the platform hosted a three-day "TONES of NYC" initiative. This event featured free programming that blended culture, community building, and live music, reflecting the platform's core values. The opening programming included an album release party for Kelela and a Summerstage takeover.

For nearly a decade, COLORSxSTUDIO has been a notable force in music curation, known for its ability to discover and promote both established and emerging artists. The platform's consistent output of high-quality performance visuals has cultivated a dedicated following, particularly in the U.S., where fans have previously only been able to engage with the content virtually.
