Kriste Lewis, a 52-year-old agent from Mississippi, described her decision to join the show as "a no-brainer," citing her long-time fandom of the series. She entered the competition with a specific list of desired experiences, including interacting with the host Alan Cumming's dog, Lala, and enjoying the traditional breakfast served after a contestant's banishment. Lewis expressed a preference for being assigned the role of a "Traitor," which allows her to "murder" fellow players each night, contrasting with the "Faithfuls" who must identify and banish the Traitors to win. Her career in real estate, she believes, has prepared her for the strategic demands of the game.

Logan Smith, a 26-year-old agent specializing in commercial real estate in Tennessee, also hopes to be cast as a Traitor. He stated his primary objective is to "play the game to [his] advantage," believing the Traitors hold a significant strategic edge. Smith, who hails from Gatlinburg, Tennessee, echoed Lewis's sentiment that their backgrounds in real estate have equipped them for the challenges of "The Traitors." The show's format this season, "Traitors: New Blood," departs from previous seasons by featuring an all-civilian cast, intensifying the focus on individual strategic gameplay and interpersonal dynamics within the castle.
