‘The View’ host Joy Behar has found a buyer for her Hamptons residence in Sag Harbor, New York, approximately two years after the property was initially listed for sale. The home is now marked as "pending" sale, indicating it is in the final stages before closing. This development follows a strategic price adjustment by Behar's listing agents, Ed Gaetjens and John Wines of Saunders & Associates.

The property was first listed in November 2024 for $10.95 million. The agents acknowledged this initial price was likely too ambitious, and the asking price was subsequently lowered multiple times, reaching a low of $5.95 million in December 2025. In a surprising move, the price was increased by over $1 million just three months later, settling at $6.995 million.

Gaetjens and Wines explained to Realtor.com that the decision to increase the price was a calculated tactic. They had initially listed the home at an aspirational price before adjusting it to a more realistic figure. The subsequent price hike was influenced by factors including the recent sale of a nearby home for $11.25 million, which altered the market perception for comparable properties in the area. This strategic pricing adjustment appears to have been successful in attracting a buyer for Behar's longtime home.
