The Montana lodge formerly owned by Kelly Clarkson's late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, has been listed for sale at $2.9 million. This listing comes nearly one year after Blackstock's death in August 2025 at the age of 48, following a battle with cancer. Blackstock purchased the property in Butte, Montana, in April 2022, one month after his divorce from Clarkson was finalized. The couple, married for nine years, share two children, River and Remington. They relocated to Montana during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, a move that temporarily halted Clarkson's talk show and Las Vegas residency, allowing them to pursue a more rural lifestyle.

Following their separation in 2020, Kelly Clarkson retained ownership of two Montana properties they had shared. She later established a more permanent residence in New York City in 2023 when her talk show relocated from Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Blackstock remained in Montana, acquiring his own residence where he reportedly lived with his partner, Brittney Marie Jones, who previously worked as Clarkson's assistant. Blackstock's obituary highlighted his affection for Montana and his work with Jones on establishing a livestock auction company and a rodeo.

The property, described as a sprawling lodge, is situated in Butte, MT. Blackstock acquired it in April 2022 for an undisclosed sum. The listing price of $2.9 million reflects the current market value of the estate. Blackstock's passing marked the end of a chapter for the family, with the sale of this property signifying a further step in the estate's administration.
