Neyshia Go Handles 140 Calls Daily in Luxury Real Estate

Luxury real estate agent Neyshia Go described her demanding daily routine, which can involve up to 140 phone calls, in a recent Realtor.com® video series. Go, who joined Sotheby's International Realty in late 2020, has seen her team, The Go Group, list over $600 million in real estate across the greater Los Angeles and Santa Barbara areas. The Go Group has also achieved the No. 1 ranking for teams in both Beverly Hills and Southern California among all Sotheby's International Realty company-owned offices.

Go highlighted the constant variety in her work, stating that clients, properties, people, and problems are always different, which keeps her engaged in the business. Her days often begin early, with a 7 a.m. call to a client in Portugal, underscoring the global nature of high-end real estate transactions. She emphasized that success in this field requires a deep passion for the business and a resilient mindset, suggesting agents need to be "a little bit crazy" to build a significant career.

Her husband manages the consulting and team operations, a partnership Go finds particularly rewarding. As a listing agent, Go primarily works with sellers in what she describes as a buyer's market, viewing this as a chosen competitive landscape. She believes in the importance of self-motivation and lifting up those around her.

Go recounted a challenging period of three to four months without a closing following the implementation of the Los Angeles "mansion tax." Despite this difficulty, she focused on maintaining a positive and proactive approach to her business.
