HBO Max October 2026 Adds Legal Drama, Horror Classics

HBO Max is set to release a slate of new content in October 2026, highlighted by the premiere of the HBO/Sky legal drama "War" on October 1. This eight-episode series stars Dominic West and Sienna Miller and is set within the competitive legal landscape of London's most powerful law firms, Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne. The narrative centers on a high-profile case that ignites a conflict between these two rival firms. Archie Renaux portrays Jonathan "Johnny" Warren, a young lawyer drawn into this intense legal battle. The first season's plotline specifically focuses on the complex divorce proceedings of tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson, played by Dominic West, and film star Carla Duval, portrayed by Sienna Miller. The cast also includes Phoebe Fox and James McArdle as the married partners leading Taylor & Byrne, and Nina Sosanya and Pip Torrens as the heads of the opposing firm.
