Emirates Launches World's First Insurance Package for Travelers to Dubai

Emirates launched the world's first travel insurance package for travelers to Dubai on December 1, 2023, aiming to provide enhanced peace of mind for visitors and transit passengers. This comprehensive coverage, included at no extra cost with every Emirates ticket, extends to medical emergencies, accidental death, and travel disruptions. The policy is valid for all Emirates passengers for the duration of their travel, from the moment they leave their home until they return. It covers medical expenses up to $500,000, personal accident coverage up to $500,000, and travel inconvenience benefits, including $100 per day for up to three days for flight delays of more than six hours. The initiative, developed in collaboration with AIG Insurance, also includes coverage for personal belongings lost or damaged during travel, up to $2,500. This new offering underscores Emirates' commitment to passenger welfare and aims to set a new standard in airline customer service.
