A vacation rental property designed as an homage to Elvis Presley, dubbed 'Little Graceland,' has gone under contract for $175,000. Located approximately half a mile from the iconic Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, the home generates an estimated $30,000 annually from its rental business. Listing agent Jennifer "Bird" Williams of Hobson Realtors stated that the property is situated very close to Elvis Presley's final residence, which is a significant tourist attraction. Graceland ranks as one of the most visited homes in the United States, surpassed only by the White House in visitor numbers. The "Little Graceland" home features two distinct rooms meticulously recreated to mirror specific areas of the original Graceland. These include a living room, complete with peacock-adorned glass dividers, and a "Jungle Room," both designed to match their counterparts in the Memphis landmark. The remaining rooms are described as "time capsules," preserving a vintage aesthetic. The property, built in 1964, has had only two owners since its construction. The current owners, musicians Dale Watson and Celine Lee, purchased the home in 2017. They are also proprietors of Hernando's Hide-A-Way, a Memphis honky-tonk where Elvis Presley reportedly performed in 1953. Having relocated, Watson and Lee are selling the 2,177-square-foot residence, which comprises three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The entire interior design adheres to a 1950s style, celebrating Elvis Presley's era and influence. Williams characterized the property as "definitely kitschy and really cool," further noting that the basement houses a recording studio. The recording equipment within this studio dates back to the late 1950s and early 1960s, suggesting its use for period-appropriate recordings.
