Elevation Pictures Acquires WWII Doc 'The Auschwitz Volunteer'

Elevation Pictures has acquired the Canadian theatrical distribution rights for Jason Lapeyre’s World War II hybrid documentary, titled “The Auschwitz Volunteer.” This film chronicles the extraordinary true story of Witold Pilecki, a Polish soldier who voluntarily infiltrated the Auschwitz concentration camp. Pilecki’s mission was to organize an internal resistance movement and gather intelligence on the atrocities being committed within the camp. The documentary is written, produced, and directed by Jason Lapeyre, who is known for his work in filmmaking.

“The Auschwitz Volunteer” aims to bring to light Pilecki's courageous and perilous undertaking.
