EA SPORTS FC 27 Features Mbappé, Bellingham on Cover

EA SPORTS FC 27 has officially announced its worldwide launch date for September 25, 2026. The upcoming football simulation game will feature Real Madrid stars Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham as the joint cover athletes for its Ultimate Plus Edition. This latest installment aims to enhance the player experience with significant gameplay and structural updates.

The game introduces "The Grounds," a new social playground that expands the existing Clubs mode into distinct neighborhood districts. Within "The Grounds," players can customize their virtual footballers, participate in both casual and competitive matches, and benefit from guidance provided by iconic mentors such as Kylian Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala, and Alex Hunter. This feature is designed to foster a more interactive and community-driven environment within the game.

Further additions include the FUT Gallery, a new system that allows players to collect, grade, and curate sets of player items from both past and present seasons, across various leagues and nations, to earn seasonal rewards. Career Mode has been updated with a rebuilt Transfer Market that integrates TransferRoom mechanics, aiming to provide a more realistic and dynamic transfer experience. Gameplay enhancements are also present, with the introduction of dynamic corner controls, rebalanced AI defending, and improved fluid player movement on the pitch.

EA SPORTS FC 27 is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players who purchase eligible editions will gain early access starting September 18, 2026.
