Following an initial rapid sellout of advanced tickets in April, Warner Bros. reopened booking for registered "Dune Insiders," granting them early access to secure seats for the trilogy's final chapter. This sudden surge in consumer demand overwhelmed the online booking platforms of numerous theater chains, resulting in extensive virtual queues, persistent error messages, and an almost instantaneous depletion of available tickets nationwide.

Fans who successfully navigated the challenging digital booking process have secured passes for a staggered rollout of advanced screenings. These early viewings are set to commence with exclusive IMAX 70mm showings on December 14, followed by standard IMAX viewings on December 15, and additional premium format screenings on December 17, all preceding the official December 18 premiere.

The film was meticulously captured using a hybrid approach, incorporating both IMAX Film Cameras and IMAX-certified digital lenses. This advanced filming technique has resulted in an impressive 71 minutes of exclusive expanded aspect ratio footage. Standard IMAX screens will present these expansive sequences in a 1.90:1 aspect ratio. Furthermore, a select number of premium locations equipped with IMAX with Laser technology and 70mm film projectors will offer an even more breathtaking visual immersion, expanding the frame to a towering 1.43:1 aspect ratio. The immense detail captured by the 15-perforation film cells is reported to hold nearly ten times the resolution of standard IMAX formats, significantly enhancing the visual fidelity and the sheer scale of the cinematic presentation.
