Diptyque Unveils 2026 Holiday Collection Inspired by Enchanted Forest

Diptyque has launched its 2026 Holiday Collection, titled "The Enchanted Forest," a collaboration with French designer and craftsman Jean-Simon Roch. This collection centers on the theme of wood, transforming it into animated forest creatures and flora set against a starry winter sky. The artistic vision aims to create a kinetic ballet of nature, bringing a whimsical woodland to life for the holiday season. Central to the olfactory experience is the return of "Sapin," Diptyque's seasonal Pine Tree fragrance. This scent is composed of Siberian fir and balsam fir, which impart the crisp, cool aroma of freshly cut pine branches. Complementing these notes is cedarwood, adding the dry warmth reminiscent of bark and timber, while moss provides an earthy undertone, evoking the damp forest floor. The fragrance aims to capture the sensory experience of bringing a Christmas tree indoors, with the lingering scent of resin on the hands and the cold outdoor air gradually giving way to the warmth of candlelight. The "Sapin" scent is integrated across various products within the collection. This includes Classic, Small, and Very Large candles, as well as an "Advent" taper designed in the shape of a pine tree. Additionally, the fragrance is available in a scented oval, a miniature room spray, and a hand-turned perfumed wooden spinning top created by Jean-Simon Roch, which releases the "Sapin" scent as it spins. Beyond the pine fragrance, the collection also features "Feu de Bois," a scent designed to replicate the aroma of a crackling hearth, presented in a sculptural 2.5kg wax tree stump. Decorative elements include scented wax rabbits, owls, and acorns, which carry the fragrances of "Santal," "Baies," and "Ambre" into the collection's miniature woodland theme. The packaging for the collection further enhances the "Enchanted Forest" narrative. The "Sapin" candles are housed in deep green lacquered glass adorned with gold stars. A notable innovation is the introduction of a wooden interpretation of Diptyque's signature oval label. The Very Large edition of the "Sapin" candle is presented in hand-enamelled ceramic, featuring individually painted stars. The collection also includes Diptyque's 75ml eaux de parfum: "Orphéon," "Do Son," and "Eau Rose," presented in packaging that aligns with the holiday theme. A standout item is the toolbox-inspired Advent Calendar, designed to house the collection's various scented treasures. The overall aesthetic emphasizes natural materials and artisanal craftsmanship, with a focus on wooden elements and intricate detailing to create a magical and festive atmosphere.
