Converse Launches New SHAI 001 Lace Up Colorways

Converse has unveiled three new colorways for the SHAI 001 Lace Up sneaker, a collaboration with NBA player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The "Lime" and "Berry" colorways were released on August 14, with the "Cheetah" colorway scheduled for release on September 3. These releases mark the final chapter of Gilgeous-Alexander's partnership with Converse before his move to Nike Basketball.

Each of the new SHAI 001 Lace Up iterations features a distinct aesthetic. The "Berry" edition presents a vibrant pink upper complemented by beige collars. The "Lime" colorway utilizes volt and grey tones for a two-tone design, reflecting Gilgeous-Alexander's personal style. The "Cheetah" version offers a bold, animal-inspired look with a tri-tone layout of tan and volt accents.

These updated models retain the original SHAI 001's structural design but replace the previous zippered shroud with a traditional lacing system for enhanced wearability. The sneakers incorporate performance-oriented features such as Nike Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot, radial traction on the outsole, and padded collar support, making them suitable for both on-court performance and lifestyle wear. The suggested retail price for each pair is $120 USD.
