Principal Deputy National Security Advisor Jonathan Finer expressed concerns this week regarding a potentially compressed timeline for a US-Iran nuclear deal, suggesting it could lead to future unraveling. Speaking on Bloomberg This Weekend, Finer, who also served as Chief of Staff for the State Department under President Obama, highlighted that the previous Iran nuclear agreement took the Obama administration two years to negotiate. He indicated that a rushed process for the current negotiations could compromise the long-term stability and effectiveness of any potential accord.
