BYD is deploying 2.4x more charging power per month than Tesla

BYD is deploying charging infrastructure at a significantly faster rate than Tesla, with its Flash Charging stations delivering up to 1,500 kW of power, three times the capacity of Tesla's latest V4 Superchargers. The Chinese automaker has installed over 5,700 Flash Charging stations in China within a few months and has begun expanding its network internationally, opening its first overseas stations in Europe. This rapid deployment suggests BYD's global charging network could rival or surpass Tesla's within two to three years. The company's strategy focuses on high-power charging solutions to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles.
