Bluey Lands on Toniebox at Last, Expanding Tonies’ Lineup of Character Audio Play Experiences

Tonies announced a partnership with BBC Studios on March 19, 2024, to bring the popular preschool series Bluey to its Toniebox audio platform. This collaboration marks the first time Bluey will be available in a screen-free audio format, allowing children to engage with the characters through listening and imaginative play. The Bluey Tonie will feature 10 episodes from the series, including "The Show" and "Burger," along with original songs. The release is scheduled for July 11, 2024, in the US and UK markets. This expansion is expected to enhance Tonies' existing lineup of character-driven audio experiences, which already includes franchises like Disney's Frozen and Paw Patrol. The Toniebox, a child-friendly digital listening device, uses small figurines called Tonies to play stories and songs, promoting independent play without screens. The partnership aims to leverage Bluey's global appeal to attract new users to the Tonies platform and provide existing users with beloved new content. Tonies has seen significant growth in recent years, driven by its unique approach to children's entertainment, and this addition is anticipated to further solidify its position in the market.
