Bed Bath & Beyond’s comeback expands as 22 new stores open across the U.S.

Bed Bath & Beyond opened 22 new combined retail stores across the U.S. on June 18, marking a significant expansion following its bankruptcy filing in 2023. These new locations integrate home goods from Bed Bath & Beyond with storage solutions from The Container Store, a strategy that builds on previous collaborations and a recent acquisition. Beyond Inc., the parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, and Zulily, invested in this new retail model. Amy Sullivan, President of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., stated that this initiative represents a "completely new model for home retail," aiming to leverage the established trust and expertise of both brands. The 22 stores are distributed across states including Texas, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, California, Tennessee, Ohio, Washington, Minnesota, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Oregon, Georgia, North Carolina, and New Jersey, with plans for further openings.
