Daniel Hua, the listing agent with Alliance Real Estate, emphasized the home's singular appearance, noting that it is unlike any other residence typically encountered in Pensacola.

Its previous sale occurred in 2017, when it changed hands for $310,800. The construction of the dome itself dates back to 2007, utilizing steel-reinforced concrete. However, the structure was never fully completed. Information regarding the home's specific historical background or the original motivations behind its unconventional design remains scarce, according to Hua. He elaborated that the lower level includes a carport area that was originally intended to be enclosed, and provisions were made for an elevator installation that never materialized, although the elevator shaft is still present within the structure.

The current seller purchased the property several years ago, implemented a number of improvements, and resided in the home for a period before relocating. Hua stated that the seller has not occupied the residence for approximately one to two years but has maintained personal furnishings within the dome. This three-story structure, with its resemblance to a spaceship, offers a dramatic contrast to traditional residential architecture, contributing to its unique appeal. The combination of its unconventional design and prime beachfront location underpins its substantial asking price, suggesting a strong draw for a buyer seeking an extraordinary and unconventional residence.
