ATEEZ's 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5' Hits No. 1 on Billboard 200
ATEEZ's latest album, 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5,' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week, accumulating 228,000 equivalent album units in its first seven days. This achievement represents a new career-high for the K-pop group and signifies their third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, following 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2' in 2024 and 'THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL' in 2023. The album also extended ATEEZ's streak of consecutive top 10 appearances to nine, beginning with 'THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT' which peaked at No. 3 in 2022.
Pure album sales were a significant driver for the debut, reaching a career-best 223,000 units. The remaining 5,000 equivalent album units were derived from streaming, totaling approximately 4.96 million on-demand official streams. The album's commercial success was bolstered by its availability in 30 CD variants and five vinyl variants, which included collectible items like photocards, posters, stickers, and signed editions, some featuring randomized elements.
With this latest No. 1, ATEEZ has now secured nine top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 in the 2020s, establishing them as the group with the most top 10 entries this decade. This breaks a previous three-way tie they held with fellow K-pop groups Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
Other albums rounding out the top five on this week's Billboard 200 include Olivia Rodrigo's 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love' at No. 2 with 127,000 units, Ella Langley's 'Dandelion' at No. 3 with 82,000 units, Drake's 'ICEMAN' at No. 4 with 80,000 units, and Morgan Wallen's 'I'm the Problem' at No. 5 with 79,000 units.
