AppleCare+ Prices Increase for New Mac and iPad Plans

Apple has increased the monthly and annual subscription prices for AppleCare+ coverage on new Mac and iPad purchases. New subscribers will see a 50-cent monthly increase and a $5 annual increase for their extended warranty plans. These price adjustments apply only to new sign-ups, with current subscribers retaining their existing rates. The revised monthly pricing for Macs now ranges from $4.49 for the Mac mini to $18.49 for the Mac Pro. Similarly, iPad coverage sees a monthly increase, with the standard iPad and iPad mini costing $5.99 per month, and the 11-inch M5 iPad Pro priced at $10.99 per month. These higher costs are applied uniformly to all newly purchased laptops and tablets. AppleCare+ provides customers with priority technical support and reduced costs for accidental damage repairs, including screen damage and liquid spills. It also includes free battery replacements if the device's total power capacity falls below 80 percent. However, the AppleCare One bundle, which offers multi-device protection for up to three devices at $19.99 per month, has not been affected by this price increase and remains a cost-effective option for users covering multiple Apple products.
