Apple Announces AirPods 5 With Open-Ear ANC

Apple announced the AirPods 5 on October 28, 2024, introducing significant updates to its wireless earbud line, which was last refreshed with the AirPods 4 series in 2024. The company claims the new AirPods 5 offer "best-in-class open‑ear active noise cancellation," a notable advancement for earbuds designed to allow ambient sound.
