JOURNAL STANDARD relume Reworks A.P.C. 'Raymond' Blouson

JOURNAL STANDARD relume is reopening pre-orders for its exclusive rework of the A.P.C. "Raymond" blouson, restocking the Black colorway and introducing a new Brown colorway for delivery in mid-August 2026. This special make-up (SMU) version significantly alters the original design, moving away from A.P.C.'s typical cotton materials towards a more technical construction.

The most notable change is the shell fabric, which has been replaced with a ripstop material composed of 85% nylon and 15% polyurethane. This blend provides enhanced tear resistance due to the nylon's grid reinforcement and added stretch from the polyurethane. The fabric is further treated with a resin film coating, which imparts water and wind resistance and creates a matte, non-reflective surface. According to the product listing, this resin layer is designed to last approximately three years from its manufacture date before potential degradation.

Structurally, the relume "Raymond" blouson features a shorter body cut compared to A.P.C.'s standard inline version. A drawcord hem allows the silhouette to be cinched, creating a rounded, balloon-like shape. The jacket is also lined with mesh and finished with tonal snap-button hardware, contributing to its updated aesthetic and functionality. The new Brown colorway is exclusive to the relume range and is not available in A.P.C.'s standard collection.
