Lifetime Orders Two Angie Harmon ‘Buried In Barstow’ Sequels

Lifetime has ordered two sequel films to its 2023 movie "Buried in Barstow," with Angie Harmon set to return as executive producer and star. The new films, tentatively titled "Buried in Barstow: Blood for Blood" and "Buried in Barstow: The Reckoning," are scheduled to begin production in the fall. Harmon will reprise her role as Hazel King, a former assassin attempting to leave her past behind.

Kristoffer Polaha will also return as Elliot, a former doctor who was romantically involved with Hazel. New additions to the cast include Megan Follows and Finley Sehorn. Follows is known for her roles in "Anne of Green Gables" and "Reign," while Sehorn is a newcomer making her acting debut. The specific roles for Follows and Sehorn have not yet been disclosed.

The original "Buried in Barstow" premiered on Lifetime in February 2023 and followed Hazel King as she navigates her dangerous past after her daughter's life is threatened. The film was executive produced by Harmon, along with Andrew van Slee and Andrew Eric Smith. The sequels are expected to continue Hazel's story, exploring new challenges and conflicts stemming from her former life as an assassin.
