This existing benefit is facilitated by linking an Amazon account to the Earnify app, a digital platform designed to manage rewards and savings.

Starting October 2, 2026, and continuing through January 29, 2027, Amazon Prime members can double their savings. During this promotional period, eligible members will receive an additional 10 cents off per gallon every Friday, bringing the total discount to an impressive 20 cents per gallon. This enhanced offer is valid for one fuel transaction per Friday, with a maximum of 35 gallons, and applies to all fuel grades. This move by Amazon comes at a time when fuel prices are a significant concern for consumers; the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline, according to AAA (the American Automobile Association), is currently above $4, making any savings at the pump particularly valuable.

To take advantage of this enhanced Friday discount, Amazon Prime members must first ensure they have linked their Amazon account to the Earnify app. The process begins with downloading the Earnify app, which is available on both Android and iOS mobile operating systems. Following the app download, members are directed to visit a dedicated Amazon fuel savings page on the company's website to establish the connection between their Amazon Prime account and their Earnify account. Once this linkage is successfully established, members can utilize the Earnify app to locate participating Amoco, BP, ampm, and Thorntons stations in their vicinity. At the gas station, the discount can be redeemed in a couple of ways: either by entering the phone number associated with their Earnify account at the pump and paying with a card saved within the Earnify wallet, or by opening the Earnify app to pre-select the specific station and pump number before proceeding with the transaction. For those looking to maximize their overall savings, it is recommended to pair this discount with a credit card that offers additional rewards, such as points or miles, on gasoline purchases.
