Alaska Airlines Launches Atmos Rewards Loyalty Program

Alaska Airlines launched its integrated loyalty program with Hawaiian Airlines, named Atmos Rewards, in 2025. This program retains popular features for Alaska Airlines loyalists, such as advantageous partner redemptions and access to a global network. A key enhancement allows members to customize how they earn points and achieve status, with these new earning options scheduled to be introduced later in 2026. Alongside the program's debut, Atmos Rewards introduced a premium credit card designed for Alaska Airlines and Oneworld alliance loyalists who prioritize travel benefits.

Atmos Rewards has established a comprehensive network of airline partners. This includes all Oneworld alliance members, such as American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian Airlines, and SriLankan Airlines. Beyond the Oneworld network, members can also earn and redeem Atmos Rewards points with a range of other airlines. These include Aer Lingus, Air Tahiti Nui, Condor, Hainan Airlines, Icelandair, ITA Airways, Korean Air, Philippine Airlines, Porter Airlines, and Singapore Airlines. Several regional carriers are also partners, though some only allow earning points and not redemption, or vice versa. These limited partners include Aleutian Airways, Bahamasair, Cape Air, Contour Airlines, Jetstar, Kenmore Air, Mokulele Airlines, Southern Airways Express, and Starlux Airlines.

The Atmos Rewards program features four distinct elite status tiers, each offering a progressive set of benefits. To achieve these tiers, members will need to accumulate a specific number of "status points" starting in 2026, which will count towards their 2027 elite status. The entry-level tier is Atmos Silver, requiring 20,000 status points, which corresponds to Ruby status within the Oneworld alliance. The next tier is Atmos Gold, requiring 40,000 status points and aligning with Sapphire status in Oneworld. Atmos Platinum requires 80,000 status points and grants Emerald status in Oneworld. The highest tier is Atmos Titanium, which necessitates 135,000 status points and also corresponds to Emerald status within the Oneworld alliance. For members aspiring to reach Atmos Platinum and Titanium tiers, the program is offering an incentive: a one-time head start of 5,000 status points towards their 2027 status.
