Al Jazeera cameraman Ahmed Wishah killed in targeted Israeli strike

Al Jazeera condemned the killing, calling it a "brutal assassination" and demanding accountability from Israel. The network stated that Wishah was "delivering essential news coverage" and that his death brought the number of journalists killed in Gaza since October 7 to at least 50. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has also documented the high number of media workers killed in the conflict.
