Africa CDC Calls for More Ebola Funding

Africa CDC Director General Jean Kaseya called for increased funding from Western governments on October 26, 2023, to combat rising Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Kaseya stated that border closures are an ineffective strategy against the virus's spread, emphasizing the need for a coordinated international response.
