‘The Other Bennet Sister’ Sets Christmas Special at BritBox and BBC

The television series "The Other Bennet Sister" will premiere a three-episode Christmas special on BritBox and the BBC this year. Sarah Quintrell, the primary writer for the "Pride & Prejudice" spinoff, has penned all three new episodes. These installments are based on storylines developed by author Janice Hadlow, who previously wrote the novel "The Other Bennet Sister" in 2017. The series, which debuted in 2022, explores the life of Mary Bennet, the middle sister in Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." The first season consisted of 10 episodes, with Quintrell writing nine of them. Asim Abbasi, the director of the initial season, is returning to direct the Christmas special. The special aims to continue the narrative of Mary Bennet's journey beyond the events of the first season, offering viewers a festive continuation of her story.
