Hyatt Offers 500 Bonus Points Per Night at 36 New Hotels

World of Hyatt is offering members 500 bonus points per night for qualifying stays at 36 select hotels that are new to the Hyatt portfolio. These bonus points are valued at approximately $8 each, based on The Points Guy's July 2026 valuations. To be eligible, members must provide their World of Hyatt number at check-in and pay an eligible rate or redeem a Hyatt free night certificate. The promotion applies to stays where the checkout date falls within the offer period for each specific hotel, which is typically the first few months after the property opens. Group stays, conventions, and certain other promotional offers are excluded, and bonus points are limited to one room per night. The bonus points are generally expected to appear in accounts within three to four weeks after checkout, though they often post concurrently with other stay-related points.

Currently, there are 17 new Hyatt hotels in the United States participating in this promotion. These include properties such as Hyatt Studios Chesapeake in Virginia, with an offer period ending September 30; Hyatt House Destin in Florida, and Hyatt House at Hoopili and Hyatt Place at Hoopili in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, both with offer periods ending August 31. Other US locations with new Hyatt properties offering bonus points include Galveston, Texas, with Hyatt Select Galveston — Beachfront until August 31, and Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Beyond the US, the promotion extends to several international locations. In Mexico, travelers can find new Hyatt hotels such as Hyatt Centric Cancun, with an offer period ending August 31, and Thompson Cancun, also ending August 31. The Caribbean also features participating properties, including Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay in Jamaica, with an offer period ending September 30, and Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas, which has an offer period ending October 31. Other international destinations include properties in Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, Peru, and St. Lucia, each with specific offer end dates.

Hyatt regularly updates a list of participating properties on its website, allowing members to identify hotels where they can earn these additional bonus points. The promotion is designed to incentivize stays at newly opened or recently added hotels within the World of Hyatt program, providing added value for loyal customers. Members are not required to register separately for this promotion, making it a straightforward way to accumulate more points for future award nights or other redemption opportunities.
